Rules of Play

A happy and safe environment for every little lemur

We have taken every reasonable step to control the risks through the design, maintenance and operation of our facility so that we may encourage children to 'leap, climb, play and explore to the max' in a safe environment. However, it is impossible to eliminate such risks completely whilst providing a stimulating environment; these include children being exposed to moderate physical activity, tripping, falling and bumping into fixed objects and other children. We politely ask that Parents/Guardians recognise and accept this risk.

We expect all visitors, whether young or the young-at-heart, to adhere to our Rules of Play when visiting the centre, so as to maintain a safe and pleasurable experience for the whole family.

  1. Height (5ft 2") and age (max. 12) restrictions on the play equipment are in force at Lemur Landings for the health and safety of all visitors and we will enforce them.

  2. Our Under 5's soft play and sensory areas are strictly for children aged 4 and under. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to ensure that the child/children do not play in these areas if aged 5 and over.

  3. No persons aged 13 or over are permitted to 'play' on our play equipment.

  4. All visitors must remove shoes and be wearing socks to use the play equipment. Socks can be purchased from reception.

  5. No food, drink or chewing gum is allowed on any of the play equipment.

  6. Children must not stand up, run up/down/on the slides.

  7. Do not play in front of or at the bottom of the slides.

  8. It is forbidden to climb on the netted walls or the system structure.

  9. Balls must not be removed from the play areas.

  10. Balls or other objects must not be thrown at other visitors.

  11. We reserve the right to amend to our 'Rules of Play' at any time without notice.

Admission to Lemur Landings is based upon your acceptance and adherence of both our Admissions Policy and Rules of Play. Our team are here to help - please ask if you need assistance.
