Price increases in Lemur Landings April 2022
31 March 2022
We are sorry but we have needed to introduce price increases for some of our admission prices and our food and drinks.
As you will be only too aware there have been big increases in the cost of living. You will have seen this particularly in food, fuel and energy prices and sadly we are not immune from these increases either.
As the largest soft play centre in Dorset on a premium leisure site; it costs a lot to run Lemur Landings, the overheads on this unit are much greater than an equivalent sized unit on an industrial park or high street play café. Additionally, we need to pay and train our team; to maintain the equipment; we must heat and light the centre and keep a high standard of safety and cleanliness and to reinvest in the centre to bring our customers an exciting and well-maintained play environment.
Out of your admission price we hand over 20% of it straight to the Government for VAT, after that, we must pay all the other things mentioned above and more. You will know yourselves just how much things have gone up over the past months, we need to make a change to the prices to maintain, in the long-term, the quality of the site and ensure that we have a sustainable business.
We never take your visit for granted; we understand that it isn’t a cheap day out for our visiting families. Our aim is to offer excellent value for money; a sector leading, safe, play environment and most of all a place where your children can take part in a healthy activity and have a completely awesome amount of fun.
We mentioned above about reinvestment and over the next few weeks you will see some exciting additions to the play frames to make Lemur Landings more enjoyable and exciting for our young visitors. There is also some new furniture coming too.
This year sees us celebrate 10 years of Lemur Landings in July and we very much hope that we will be around for many more years to come.
Thank you for making Lemur Landings your place to play with your family.
